Only 3 minutes in, Hamlet had the chance to open the scoring, De Pelegrín found space to unleash an effort that was saved well by Millwall keeper Wiktoria Gmiterek. 6 minutes later, Angel Reid made a great run to try and pick out someone in blue but it just didn’t happen for her. In the early stages of the game Millwall we’re the team showing more attacking quality. Jade Keogh had an effort saved well in the 25th minute as either team we’re still looking for a opening goal. In the 29th minute, Millwall manager Jack Wheeler made his first change of the game. Kaydence Kabadaki came off for Chloe Burr. And the super sun Chloe Burr was the one to open the scoring just before the half time break on the 44th minute, she got the ball out of her feet and unleashed a rocket of a shot into the top corner. 1-0 Millwall. As the half time break came, The Millwall Lionesses were ahead by 1-0. Only 2 mins into the second half and it’s level at the den, Luna Etienne found the killer instinct, and put the ball into the back of the net. 1-1 Jack Wheeler made a double change with 33 minutes left to play, Ella Bailey and Ellen Napper came off for Mellisa Jones and Maisie Joyce. On the 62nd minute, Angel Reid beat four Hamlet players, raced through to the goal but her strike was saved by the keeper. Millwall made another sub with 18 mins to go, Kaydence Kabadaki came back on for Grace Seely. Millwall scored a winner with 13 minutes to go, Chloe Burr whipped the ball into the box and it somehow made its way into the back of the net via an own goal. The Den crowd went wild and Millwall were back Infront. It was nearly three on the 78th minute as Otesha Charles done well to keep running towards goal, but the Dulwich keeper pounced on her and it remained 2-1.

In the end, Millwall remained calm in the closing minutes, with 10 minutes added on due to injuries and players needing treatment, they came out on top and showcased a fantastic game down the den, and the den has seen a few of them this season.

Very well done to all of those players this season, they ended the season in 5th place on 32 points. Lets hope next season they go all for it and get promoted.
